Spine Surgeon Rejoins Community at Allied Bone and Joint

Allied Bone and Joint, a division of Allied Physicians of Michiana, LLC, announced that board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Thomas J. Mango, M.D., recently moved back to the region and joined the practice. Dr. Mango specializes in orthopedic spine surgery with a focus on minimally invasive techniques. He provides spine care services for both the cervical and lumbar spine ranging from conservative care to injections and surgery.

After receiving his medical degree from Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago, Dr. Mango completed a fellowship program at Chicago’s Rush Presbyterian in spine surgery and a residency in orthopedic surgery at the New Jersey Medical School in Newark.

“Dr. Mango will join Dr. Thomas Akre, Dr. Richard McClain and Dr. Randall Kline to provide even greater care for our patients,” says Shery Roussarie, CEO of Allied Physicians of Michiana. “His expertise lies in minimally invasive orthopedic surgeries, a technique that’s extremely important for recovery and promotes successful rehabilitation for our spine patients.”
